Day 1 Jaipur, Hotel Mahal Khandela

This boutique heritage hotel is located in the best and quietest part of Jaipur city. It has an open courtyard, plenty of open spaces and a lush green garden. There is a roof-top where you can do your meditation and yoga. The rooms are tastefully done and the services are top notch.

You will time to practice meditation in the morning. After breakfast, you will be accompanied by our guide on a full-day tour of the city visiting the Jantar Mantar (the Observatory), the City Palace Museum, the Palace of Winds, and Sisodia-Rani-Garden. Take a memorable cycle-rickshaw ride through the bazaars of old Jaipur, its spice and bangles markets.

In the evening your tour operator will host you to a gala dinner on the roof-top of their boutique hotel and serve you unlimited quantity of drinks. Enjoy succulent kebabs and slow-cooked food dinner. This memorable evening will be enlivened with folk music, dances, and puppet shows.

Gather in the hotel's drawing room for a photo session with the family before resting for the night at Hotel Mahal Khandela.

Day 2 Jaipur, Hotel Mahal Khandela

After breakfast take an excursion to forts of Amer, Jaigarh, and Nahargarh. Climb up to Fort Amer on an elephant! Fort Amer is truly a marvel of military architecture and planning and is on UNESCO World Heritage Sites List. On return see the Albert Hall Museum and the all-white lovely Birla Temple. After lunch, take a swim in your hotel's pool and enjoy a 45-50 minute ayurvedic massage. 

Around 6:30 pm, drive 22-km to the 150-year old Castle Kalwar, owned by a descendant of the noble family of Kalwar. The owner is a former general of the India Army and he and his wife are gracious hosts. Enjoy bar-ber-cue and dinner by the castle's pool and then return to your hotel Mahal Khandela for overnight stay.

Day 3 Khandela 

This heritage castle with ornate rooms, great decor, and a rich collection on display of armory, paintings, and coins is an ideal place for walks around. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated. First-rate vegetarian & non-vegetarian bar-be-cue is served.

Castle Khandela is located in the heart of Shekhawati region of India. It is best known for its handicrafts and frescoes on the residential homes called havelis.

After breakfast drive 90-km to the beautiful town of Khandela in the heart of Shekhawati region, India's wonderland of heritage. On arrival enjoy a complimentary beer in the company of the owner of boutique heritage Castle Khandela. Take a walking tour of the town. Enjoy bar-be-cue and lunch at the lovely castle.

In the afternoon take a thrilling jeep safari through the villages around stopping now and then to visit a low-cost school, craftspersons at work. Visit the cenotaphs of the former rajas of Khandela. Drive back to Jaipur and have dinner and rest at your hotel.

Day 4 Pushkar, Kishangarh 

After breakfast drive 140-km to Pushkar, a temple town most sacred to Hindus. This is the only place where there is a temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. Check into the sprawling and beautifully landscaped Araam Bagh Pushkar 

After lunch, visit the sacred pond to see the religious rituals being performed by priests for devotees who converge here from all over India.

See a memorable aarti being performed to Lord Brahma in the evening. After walking tours of the town return to your resort for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Pushkar, Kishangarh 

In the morning you will have time to practice meditation. After breakfast, you will take an excursion to Kishangargh, 35-km from Pushkar. Kishangarh is an ancient town made world-famous for its 16th century miniature paintings collectively called Kishangarh School of Paintings. The theme of these paintings is the life of Lord Krishna much revered by Hindus wherever they are in the world.

Arrive at the Maharaja-owned Phool Mahal Palace situated by a man-made lake. Visit Fort Kishangarh, a majestic structure that has a rich collection of armory. Inside the fort is a studio where students learn the art of making miniature paintings on paper and silk cloth.

Lunch will be at the Phool Mahal Palace. In the afternoon, visit the temples scattered around and take a walk in the lanes of the town. From there, return to Pushkar for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 Khimsar, Hotel Khimsar Fort  

Perform meditation in the morning and then after breakfast, drive 110-km to Khimsar location of the 16th century exquisitely constructed Fort Khimsar. This is now also a resort. Check into the resort for relaxation and lunch.

In the afternoon, take an excursion to the Sand Dune Village situated amidst a seemingly endless expanse of wasteland. See here how the dunes have different shades of colors. Visit also several Hindu and Jain temples in and around Khimsar.

Enjoy dinner by the pool-side of the resort and spend the night at the Fort Khimsar.

Day 7 Jodhpur, Hotel Polo Heritage

This heritage property has beautiful rooms, a large pool to swim, a great Ayurvedic spa. You will love its ambiance, large lush green lawns, and great personal touches, not to speak of delicious food that would be laid out for you.

Leave the Fort-hotel after breakfast for your next destination, Jodhpur, India's famous Sun City. Check into a heritage hotel. After lunch visit Jaswant Thada, the Mandore Gardens and the old parts of the city on a walking tour.

Enjoy an ayurvedic massage, have dinner and rest at your hotel, The Polo Heritage.

Day 8 Jodhpur, Hotel Polo Heritage

You will have space to practice yoga in the morning. Then, after breakfast, visit the world-famous hill-top Mehrangarh Fort that has a museum housing rare collection of ancient manuscripts, paintings, armory, royal dresses, silverware, and artifacts.

Visit the majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace that has often been voted the best hotel in the world. After lunch, take a trip to Osian town. It has numerous exquisite temples dedicated to Jainism. Return to your Polo Heritage Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9 Jaisalmer, Hotel Garh Jaisal Haveli

This property is made of yellow sandstones with intricate carvings on the facade and inside areas. You would greatly like its haveli character, exquisitely decorated rooms and courteous services. 

After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer located in the heart of India's Thar Desert. Have lunch en route.

Check into a resort or haveli. Jaisalmer has the incredible hill-top situated Golden Fort that has 99 bastions and several beautiful temples inside it. Take a tour of the city visiting the lovely sandstone merchants' mansions, Nathamal-Ki-Haveli, Patwan-Ki-Haveli, and Salam-Singh-Ki-Haveli.

You will also visit the Lakshminath Handicrafts Gallery and see the amazing sunset over the dunes. Then have dinner and rest overnight at your hotel.

Day 10 Sam Dunes, AC Tented Accommodation

Perform meditation in the morning, have breakfast and then drive 45-km to the Sam Dunes for a stay in ac tented accommodation.

At the Sam Dunes, take a camel safari over the dunes around and visit the National Desert Park.

In the evening see a great desert folk dance and music during your dinner, see a million stars as the night falls, and rest peacefully overnight in your tent.

Day 11 Jaisalmer 

After breakfast check out from your ac tented accommodation and leave for the airport
